View from the Cluanie Inn on the A87 as we came out of the fog!
Some deer were hanging about waiting to welcome us.
Arrived at The Fairy Pools car park and set of on a mini trek.
The walk took us through Glen Brittle. The Glen is overlooked from the easy by The Cuillin, the largest mountains on Skye.
The Fairy Pools have the clearest water I've ever seen. Had to resist the temptation to jump in for a dip as I think I may have ended up with hypothermia!
Finally it was time to go back to the car park and head for some dinner.
Not before stopping off to look at some highland cattle.
Uig was a bit on the quiet side being a Sunday.
The Fairy Glen near Uig. Could have spent all day here roaming about and exploring the area.
Staffin beach. There is a dinosaur footprint here and there is a handy little information point at the car park pointing out it's location, however even with the help of the information point the footprint eluded us!
Kilt Rock waterfall.
The drive back to Broadford from Portree.
Stopped off at Eilean Donan Castle on the way home, the most photographed castle in Scotland.
Loch Duich from Eilean Donan Castle.
Loch Linnhe from at Glencoe.
